On July 24, 2025, we celebrated our 10th and final scholarship recipients with a vibrant and heartfelt gala. In its final year, the Nahom Berhane Scholarship for Leadership & Inclusion was awarded to 6 dedicated students passionate about community service. In addition, there were 8 recipients of the Nahom Berhane Bursary for Emerging Leaders, and 1 student received the Axelle & Guillermo Community Resilience Award. Thank you to everyone who has showed their support for this amazing scholarship over the past ten years, and a huge congratulations to each of this year’s 15 impressive recipients! Inspired by Nahom’s powerful legacy, these young student leaders will continue to make a positive impact in their communities as they pursue their education, and their dreams.
